Cats Deserve More: Join the Purr-volution!

It’s time to stop treating cats like second-class pets.

My Three Cats has launched the Cats Deserve More campaign to challenge the outdated, dog-dominated pet industry and fight for better representation, products, and respect for our feline companions.

  • There are over 11 million pet cats in the UK.

  • UK cat owners spend over £8 billion a year on their cats.

But walk into any pet shop, and what do you see? A sea of dog products – and a tiny, dusty cat corner shoved down the end.

We’ve had enough.
And if you’re a cat lover, we’re guessing you have too.

What is Cats Deserve More?

It’s a bold, unapologetic campaign to:

  • Call out pet shops for ignoring cat owners

  • Push for better, healthier, and more varied cat products

  • Champion the importance of feline welfare and enrichment

  • Celebrate the true value of cats in our lives

  • Raise the profile of cats across social media, retail, and public conversation

Why Are We Doing This?

Because we’re tired of being told “Cat owners don’t spend like dog owners.”
It’s simply not true – we spend differently. We’re more likely to shop online, research thoroughly, and choose what’srightfor our cats, not just what’s easiest.

But that doesn’t mean we should be overlooked. Our cats deserve:
More shelf space
Better food choices
More enrichment products
More tailored care options

And frankly, more respect.

How You Can Join the Purr-volution

Let’s Call It What It Is

Cats aren’t a niche. They’re not “just low-maintenance pets.”
They’re cherished companions, family members, emotional support heroes, and yes – total weirdos. And we love them for it.

So let’s stand up, speak out, and say it loud:
CATS DESERVE MORE.
