A Blackpool family known locally for their seven cats and a Great Dane called Roly Poly has officially launched a brand-new, feline-first cat-sitting service covering Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Thornton, Poulton and surrounding areas.
Rachel Wrigley, alongside her husband Adam and son Sam, are the newest franchise partners of My Three Cats, the multi-award-winning in-home cat-sitting service founded by Wendy Thomson Melling. With demand for professional at-home cat care rising rapidly, the Wrigley family will now provide dedicated, stress-free feline care across the Fylde Coast.
And yes - they really do live with seven cats.
The Wrigley household is already a full-time cat operation. Rachel shares her home with Riley, Jasper, Tux, Flump, Daisy, Tuna and Tato, plus Roly Poly, a Great Dane originally adopted as a therapy dog for Sam.
“Roly quickly decided she was a cat,” Rachel laughs. “She copies whatever the cats do, much to their disgust - even though she’s ten times their size. Training her was impossible. We’ve just accepted it. She’s one of them now.”
